4: Meet Molly, a super-clever Kinesiologist healer

Updated: Jan 16

I got recommended to go and see Molly a few years ago, maybe 2017/18. I didn't really know what to expect and kind-of went there blind, with a few ailments to mention and packing some pretty hefty psychological baggage.

We chatted, she listened and then when I go onto her bed and she starting working on me, one of the first things she said (or I should say, 'my body said'), was "you're quite impatient aren't you?"

Needless to say 'my body' went on to say lots more about me and I left feeling very confused and truth be told, wary.

If I'm honest, I wasn't really ready for therapy. I was IN my trauma (small-to-mid T), living and breathing it, and even though I did need help, I wasn't ready to receive it; and as Molly so eloquently points out in the chat, my trauma was comfortable to me and it was all I knew to do/live by. So I left Molly and I didn't actually go back again until earlier this year.

And by-jove I'm glad I did.

Kinesiology won't be for everyone and you've got to have an open mind (and heart) for it to work for you; but if you do, it can give you an understanding of your life and your body that's truly enlightening. And as a practitioner, the sense of fulfilment you must get, must be off the charts.

Molly is amazing, and she has a great voice, doesn't she? I'm so single-white-female'ing her voice. She was incredibly nervous about doing this pod and when I first asked her she needed time to think about it. Thankfully she agreed, I rocked-up, and now we all get to hear about her journey and the clever things she does to help others.

Molly's social handle is @rutlandkinesiology and her website, with contact details, is: https://rutlandkinesiology.co.uk

Enjoy.
