Lisa has LIVED, and she has both the medals and the scars to show for it.
And like LOTS of the women I pod, Lisa has very much taken the long way to get to where she is today, which is following her true passion in fashion design and dress-making. A passion she had as a young 16-year-old (if not younger), but somehow got distracted from.
... and yes, by her own admission, 'Men' have played a key part in that distraction ;-)
Thankfully the years between then and now have not gone to waste, and she's now combining her dress-making passion with her years of teaching in adult education, and runs sold-out courses and programmes for anyone that wants to learn how to do what Lisa does... Which is to create patterns for and thereafter create (from old/existing clothing and rags) amazing new garments that will fit your shape perfectly.
She's been doing her passion for a few years now, but as I sat down with her, she's decided to really ramp things up, and grab the world of YouTube and Patreon by the horns, in order to earn a more fruitful (£) living from it and thereafter push forward even more... Interesting times are ahead for her.
