Yep, witch! Oh this podcast has it ALL!
... A gorgeous person (Anna!), a gorgeous soul, a neurodivergent brain, a non-binary gender statement, and just an amazing (and occasionally, tragic) story knitting all of that together.
It's funny, Anna said to me at the end of the podcast 'how did you find me/come across me?', and for the first time on TWW, I didn't have an answer.
Because the guests are either on my own hit-list (mostly from before I started), recommended by other people, or they're roles I have sought out on request from people.
... But none of those were the case with Anna... And even sitting here now, I can't tell you why I messaged them, other than because I was drawn to.
And that's not to say I didn't love and admire what they were doing/what they ARE doing, that's a given; it's more a grey area as to why now?
And Anna would have a brilliant answer to that question... Divine paths, divine timing, destiny, etc... All of which I find FASCINATING, for reasons I'm only just starting to explore, truth be told.
The non-binary 'part' of Anna is something I'm really proud to have chatted through with them, because even though TWW is of course, called 'This Woman's Work' (for now!), the ethos of it, as I hope is clear by now, is actually about promoting equality, inclusion and support; and none of those things are gender specific. It's simply that we've been living in (and still are) a world that is fundamentally and unfairly geared towards, and for, men - in my opinion - so I want to do something to tackle that.
My work now may only be small, but it will grow and it will be mighty... I promise you that!
