... So yes, she's a busy lady!
Which I knew, because pinning her down to chat was tough... As she mentions in the chat, her 'finish' times can (and do) vary hugely.
Steph is another member of my fab netball team - and she is DAMN good at netball - I absolutely love watching her play, she's properly bad-ass in Defence. She's also a damn good Vet, as people told me when recommending women I chat to. The fact that I also saw her every Thursday night to nag (face to face) was a bonus :-)
I didn't, however, realise Steph was an Equine specialist (Vet), which she talks about in the chat; and as we also mention in the chat, the area we live in is very 'horsey', so this (a) makes her extra busy and (b) goes some way to explain why so many people recommended her to me.
I also didn't realise that Steph teaches the Veterinary course she took at Nottingham Uni... Which is the same as Jen, the Psychotherapist I podded a few weeks earlier... What are the chances?
Either way, and just like Jen, Steph LOVES her job - her vocation - which is why she is so immersed in it. It was a real treat to hear her story. Truly passionate women are remarkable and absolutely unstoppable!

PS. Apologies for the wining, growling and slobbery background noises you'll no doubt hear; Steph's two Staffy dogs (pic below) joined us and when they weren't fighting over the same toy, drinking loudly from their bowls or demanding attention, they were obsessively (and I mean obsessively) licking my hand right next to my mic (it was that or my face)... It was an intense experience for my hand and one that I shan't dwell on.
